The UK Launchpad is partnering with Retail Week on a three-month fast-track accelerator program for overseas retail tech companies looking to enter or scale in the UK retail markets. The purpose of this program is to give the selected companies an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the UK retail scene. It also aims to aid the selected companies to build strong networks, discuss innovation opportunities and pitching to leading retailers and build a post-program GRM strategy in conjunction with the experts. 

The program is open to 10 retail tech startup companies who will have to commit about 5 hours per week. Even though it is designed to be a virtual program, there would be some hybrid activities involved too. 

This program is designed for companies in the retail tech space that are keen on scaling to the UK or Europe. In addition to that, they will be expected to have at least three paying customers and should be able to demonstrate the ability to scale. The program is open to 10 retail tech startup companies who will have to commit about 5 hours per week. Even though it is designed to be a virtual program, there would be some hybrid activities involved too. 

ACCESS TO ADVISORS:

The participating companies will have access to an expert advisory panel. This panel will support them with any questions pertaining to recent retail challenges. 

PITCH AT INNOVATION SUMMIT: 

This program brings an opportunity for the participating companies to pitch to leading retailers across the UK at the Retail Week Innovation Summit to be held on the 11th of November 2022. This coveted event comprises debates, panel sessions, fireside chats and roundtable discussions. This summit thrives to bring the retail industry together to share valuable insights on innovation requirements.

The company with a winning pitch at the session of Innovation Summit will be offered a feature in the Retail Week magazine

ACCESS TO THE RETAILER’S INNOVATION PANEL:

The companies will be provided with the opportunity to meet the innovation requirements of the retailers on the Retailers Innovation Panel.

FREE ACCESS TO PREMIUM RESEARCH:

Through this accelerator program, the companies can build a deep understanding of the UK retail scene by giving them access to premium research along with an efficient research team.

ACCESS TO FORTNIGHTLY MASTERCLASS:

The companies would be given access to masterclasses on thought leadership and topical themes in the UK Retail Market

FEATURE ON RETAIL WEEK:

The company with a winning pitch at the session of Innovation Summit will be offered a feature in the Retail Week magazine.

1-2-1 GTM STRATEGY SESSIONS:

The program will conclude by working 1-2-1 with the specialists at the Retail Week and the UK Launchpad. This will be instrumental in devising a personalised market entry or scaleup strategy for the selected company.

DISCOUNT ON RETAIL WEEK EVENTS:

Along with all the above-mentioned benefits, the selected companies will get a flat 10% discount on Retail Week events.
